One of the oldest known Zinfandel vineyards, planted in 1889, the Royal T vineyard is a mixed heritage vineyard including Mission, Flame Tokay, Black Prince, and Carignan. Monte Rio's production of Royal T showcases the heritage vineyard's Lodi like beauty - wild blackberry, crushed peppercorns - with a fresh acidity that is driven by a lingering medium tannin core.
