This is a big, dry red with Rhône-like attributes of earthiness, smokiness and meatiness to complement the concentrated berry flavors. It’s firm in texture, a bit chewy due to good tannins, and shows good breadth on the palate as well as impressive length on the finish. Give it a few months and you'll be rewarded.
For what’s
on the bottles, Markus explains, “People, like wine, are shaped by unique
places,” which is why each label brings together a location from Markus’s past
with the current grape source.
