2021 Ironstone Vineyards Reserve Zinfandel

Our grapes are hand harvested and delivered in small lots. These small lots are perfectly ripened fruit that are gently crushed and allowed to cold soak for a day or two before starting fermentation. Aged in small French oak barrels for 12 months and blended with a small amount of Petite Sirah, this Zinfandel is rich and supple with plush aromas and flavors of ripe blackberries, pepper and chocolate. It finishes with well-rounded tannins and a lingering dark, fruit character.
