WHERE WERE YOU BORN & RAISED?
I was born and raised in Lodi. I lived in Chico while attending Chico State University and lived in Santa Monica for four years before moving back to Lodi in 2020.

HOW MANY ACRES DO YOU FARM AND WHICH VARIEITES DO YOU GROW?
I farm 165 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon. 

I FARM BECAUSE… 
I was born into farming. There is something quite special to me about continuing a family business and I love how closely I am able to work with my dad.

WHO HAS BEEN THE MOST INFLUENTIAL MENTOR IN YOUR CAREER?
My dad, Bob Lauchland.

IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ANOTHER CAREER OR START OVER, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
As funny as this may sound, I would choose to pursue marine biology as I have always had a love of the ocean.

WHAT WOULD PEOPLE BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I was a resident DJ in Los Angeles at a handful of clubs. I DJ’d under the name "Lauchness."

IF YOU COULD MEET ANYONE, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD THAT BE?
Frank Sinatra or Elvis.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL SPOT OR SPOTS IN LODI?
I have been known to frequent Ollie’s Pub and Brix and Hops from time to time.
