HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY BEEN FARMING WINEGRAPES?
Our family has been farming winegrapes for 80 years; I have been farming for 30. 

HOW MANY ACRES DO YOU FARM AND HOW MANY VARIETIES DO YOU GROW?
We farm 15 acres. We grow Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Bacchus, Kerner, Grüner Veltliner, Dornfelder, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Regent along with 30 to 40 additional Austrian and German varieties. 

WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU’D LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT LODI?
From the sheer number of winegrape varieties grown here to the backgrounds of the people, Lodi is diverse. 

I FARM BECAUSE…
I want to continue our family’s legacy of growing obscure winegrapes.  

IF YOU COULD MEET ANYONE, LIVING OR DEAD, WHO WOULD THAT BE AND WHY?
I’ve love to meet the child or young adult versions of my parents and grandparents. I’ve heard many stories about their younger years but those don’t do them justice. 

FORD, CHEVY, OR DODGE?
I’m not 100% on this, but Ford if these are my choices.
